Amanuel Aschalew with his sponsor Fasil Berhe. Amanuel is 13 and in 6th grade, he is a good student and is into electronic devices. He lives with his parents and two siblings, the father is an invalid, the mother supports the family by working as a daily laborer. They were relocated to Bole Bulbula area.
Eden Amare is 13 and in 7th grade this year. She is from a destitute family and lives in Teklehaimanot area. She struggles in school, but her results for the last semester were good. She attends the after school program. She has a sponsor.
Kalkidan Bedru is an 11 years old girl who was relocated from Teklehaimanot area to Bole Bulbula area in Addis. She is in 5th grade, and is good in school.
Bemnet Hailu is an 11 years old girl, she lives in Teklehaimanot area and is from a destitute family. Bemnet is a happy child and is in 4th grade this year, she is a really good student. She has a sponsor.
Tigest Desalegn is 15 and in 9th grade, she is from a destitute family and have been relocated to Abnet area from Teklehaimanot area, which is still near to Teklehaimanot. She has a very caring mother who has health issues. Tigest is doing very well in schools and is very well behaved. She has a sponsor.
Hanni Kefle is 11 years old and she is in 5th grade. Hanni lives with her mom and dad. Her dad is 80 years old . He can no longer work. Her mom has health issues, but still works as much as she can. Hanni works hard at school.
Beza Gebeyehu
Beza is 13 years old and she is in 8th grade. Beza is a hard working young girl and gets a good grade. She lives with her mom and dad. Her dad works as a guard and her mom is not working at this moment.
Meron Kassahune is 15 years old and is in 7th grade. Meron’s father has HIV. Her mother is the soul breadwinner of the family. The family was homeless for a while and now are living poor housing.
